FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Do you give RAWS?
A. No, I don’t give out the RAWS because editing is half the process that goes into images and without that huge step the images are only halfway done. I promise to never leave any photos out that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed delivered a photo, just ask. I’m more than happy to check back through my images and send it over for you. I won’t let you miss out on any memories!

Q. Where should we do the session?
A. I do on location photography. The session can take place in your neighborhood or in your home. We can talk about it together to find the perfect spot for your session!

Q. What time of day is best for a session outside?
A. I prefer to shoot within 2 hours of the sun rising or the sun setting to capture the best lighting. However, this is flexible depending on your needs, which we will discuss at the time of booking. 

Q. What if the weather isn't cooperating?
A. I will touch base with you the day before the session and we can decide of a plan depending on the forecast. If we have to, we will reschedule or move the shoot inside.

Q. How long will it take to get my pictures?
A. Usually around 2 weeks.

Q. How do payment schedules work?
A. I require 50% down at the time of booking to hold your date, and the remaining 50% due 1 month prior to your shoot date. I accept venmo, paypal, and cash. The 50% retainer fee is non-refundable.

Q. Can you photoshop us to look skinnier / have clear skin / etc?
A. I like to focus on making you feel beautiful rather than look unrealistic. So no, I do not photoshop your bodies to appear different than they are but I do clear up skin and remove distractions.

Q. What should we wear for photos?
A. I have a style guide that I can send over, but just wear something that is comfortable and is your style. Be yourselves! Sticking to neutrals is best, but message me and I can help you choose outfits based on the location we will shoot at!

Q. What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
A. If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date and then have to move/cancel it, the deposit is non-refundable and a new deposit will have to be made in order to your new date. If you’d like to cancel your session, the deposit is unfortunately non-refundable.
